Giclee Reproduction is proving it has its place in the art world. For those not familiar with giclees they are high-resolution reproductions of original art printed by inkjet printers with semlightfast inks onto paper or canvas in limited or unlimited numbers and then signed by the artist. The result is a print very close to the original that will last between 40 and 120 years under proper conditions and with protective varnishing. I think art is bought for both aesthetic and value appreciation. Value appreciation should be left to original art. While originals and giclees can satisfy aesthetic appreciation, giclees make it possible for new collectors, that find original art outside their financial limitations but have the desire to be surrounded by these images, to do so.
In limited edition of 25 prints each. 5 artist proofs.
Prints available on paper only.
